Precision in Every Inspection, Compliance in Every Step

GEONAMICS brings professional expertise and a progressive approach to supporting Malaysia’s construction industry through independent inspection services. Our services are grounded in technical precision, transparency, and strict adherence to the requirements outlined under Akta Lembaga Pembangunan Industri Pembinaan Malaysia 1994 (Akta 520), particularly Schedule 4. As we advance toward full accreditation under MS ISO/IEC 17020:2012 – Conformity Assessment for the Operation of Various Types of Bodies Performing Inspection (MIBAS) by Jabatan Standard Malaysia (JSM) and gain recognition from the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB), we are committed to elevating the standards of construction material conformity. This milestone positions GEONAMICS as an authoritative and impartial inspection body capable of conducting comprehensive inspections prior to any testing, certification, or product approval by regulatory authorities—strengthening trust, safety, and reliability in the built environment.

Scaffolding and Falsework
01

Scaffolding & Falsework

The structural integrity and safety of scaffolding and falsework systems are paramount in construction activities, particularly in temporary load-bearing structures. In alignment with the Pindaan Jadual Keempat 2021 under Act 520 by CIDB Malaysia, all scaffolding and falsework materials listed in Schedule 4 are now mandated to obtain the Perakuan Pematuhan Standard (PPS). This certification affirms that these critical components meet the performance and safety standards prescribed in CIS 22 (Scaffolding) and CIS 23 (Falsework).

To achieve or renew PPS certification, an independent third-party inspection and testing process is compulsory. GEONAMICS acts as both a recognized Inspection Body and Testing Body by CIDB, offering clients a seamless and compliant pathway to certification. Our role encompasses the initial inspection and sampling at manufacturing or storage sites, followed by thorough laboratory testing to validate material specifications, load-bearing capacities, weld quality, corrosion resistance, and dimensional accuracy.

By engaging GEONAMICS, stakeholders benefit from a neutral and accredited verification process, reducing risk and ensuring public safety. Our services contribute directly to regulatory compliance and elevate the reputation of suppliers and contractors in the marketplace by demonstrating a commitment to product quality and construction excellence.

Ready Mixed Concrete (RMC)

Ready Mixed Concrete (RMC) is a foundational material in modern construction, where uniformity, durability, and performance consistency are non-negotiable. Recognizing this, CIDB Malaysia enforces strict quality standards through CIS 21, requiring RMC producers to obtain the Perakuan Pematuhan Standard (PPS) to ensure their products consistently meet technical and regulatory specifications.

GEONAMICS offers independent inspection services as part of the PPS compliance process, ensuring that all procedures—from material sourcing to batching and delivery—adhere to approved standards. Our inspection process begins with a comprehensive audit of production facilities, verification of quality control records, and sampling of fresh concrete for laboratory testing. These tests include compressive strength, workability, setting time, and durability assessments.

As an independent third-party body, GEONAMICS upholds impartiality and technical rigor, ensuring there is no conflict of interest between producers and regulatory expectations. This not only satisfies CIDB requirements but also enhances stakeholder confidence in the structural performance of RMC used in critical infrastructure.

Through our accredited inspection services, we bridge the gap between industry practices and regulatory enforcement—supporting a safer, more compliant construction environment while reinforcing trust in Malaysia’s concrete supply chain.

Metallic Products

Iron and steel materials form the backbone of structural frameworks, reinforcing elements, and load-bearing components across various construction disciplines. Due to their critical role, these products are regulated under MS 146:2014 and other relevant Malaysian Standards, requiring strict conformity in terms of chemical composition, mechanical strength, and manufacturing consistency. As stipulated under CIDB’s Schedule 4, obtaining Perakuan Pematuhan Standard (PPS) is mandatory before these materials can be supplied to the construction sector.

GEONAMICS provides comprehensive independent inspection services covering the entire compliance process for iron and steel products. Our services include onsite visual inspection, dimensional and surface defect assessments, batch sampling, and detailed verification of mill certificates. Laboratory testing further validates the material’s yield strength, tensile strength, elongation, and chemical composition, ensuring conformance with specified standards and structural requirements.

The importance of impartial third-party validation cannot be overstated. GEONAMICS ensures that all assessments are performed without bias, giving manufacturers, suppliers, and regulators confidence in product conformity. Our expertise supports clients in meeting CIDB’s PPS certification requirements, avoiding costly rejections or site failures, and ultimately protecting the integrity of construction projects.

With GEONAMICS as your trusted inspection partner, you are assured of consistency, credibility, and compliance—cornerstones of quality assurance in Malaysia’s evolving construction landscape.
